Google celebrates Franz Kafka's birthday. The Trial is one of my favorite literary novels and although I like The Metamorphosis, I don't think it's as good as The Trial.
Compared to Metamorphosis, Kafka's other works are not well-known. Indeed, The Trial is a good one. Together with Metamorphosis, I like The Castle more. The atmosphere he creates in that book is just perfect for a writer like him!
